HOW TO PURCHASE ORGANIC EGGS
To purchase our farm fresh organic eggs from free range hens and ducks, send a message with your requirements, Once confirmed you can send payments online through Paypal to @FarmDevere .
You can buy straight from the Farm at the on door sale with cash or you can knock on the door and use your card with tap payments.
It really is that easy.
Other farms charge £2 per box of hen eggs, unless they have spent minimal on their hen set up.
Most farm shops have been seen to sell duck eggs for upto £7 per box.

Maintaining high quality practice standards
What makes Devere Farm and Cluckingham Palace different
Trading Standards have set Standards and guidelines for all Hens breeders and sales of eggs.
It is normal practice to ensure that your customers know what they are purchasing from you, this means that all eggs should be labelled correctly, the date the eggs were laid, the business address and information, use by dates along with how to store your eggs.
Cleanliness of the products is crucial. Eggs are not fit for sale if they have mud or faeces on the shells. Owners are allowed to lightly remove any dirt, but none should be sold to customers with visible poop. This can lead to salmonella, illness and shows poor Standards.
If sellers don't care what their eggs or packaging looks like, how can the customer be sure of their Standards in hygiene.
Back in February, a farm had all their birds culled due to bird flu, which sent the Trading Standards to investigate other farms and their practices, I was one of these farms, I had a wonderful lady who said the Devere Farm was one of the very few that had biosecurity in place, she remarked on how our Standards were above and beyond any other in the area.
Cluckingham Palace hens have clean fresh water every day, their coops are cleaned out and sprayed down daily to remove faeces, laying boxes are topped up with organic hay to ensure the girls have a comfy space to lay their eggs. All remains are composted to use at a later stage for veg, plus the girls love scratching in the compost heap, So it gives them something else to do when they are investigating the land.
At Devere Farm every detail is meticulously scrutinised, from the welfare of the hens, the overall look of the advertising and packaging, The enclosure to stop predators or prevention of rats, The girls even have wall paper perches, and fans to ensure they are happy healthy Hens.
